Branch Head - Retirement and Pension (PFM Sales - HPMC)

What are we looking for?

The incumbent will be responsible for effectively managing the branch team and achieving the targets of NPS Government Funds for the assigned location.

What does the job entail?

Own and deliver sales targets across NPS Government Fund products through the branch team.

Conduct comprehensive market scoping and mapping in designated geographies for the NPS vertical.

Ensure competitive presence and market share dominance in every opportunity, driving end-to-end closure within the segmented geography (Government / State / Defence / Paramilitary / Police & Central Autonomous Bodies).

Develop and monitor a robust sales funnel, ensuring achievement of monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual targets.

Build and manage relationships with new and existing clients, along with multiple intermediaries.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Operations, HR, Actuarial, and other relevant departments) to ensure seamless execution.

Ensure strict adherence to company policies and compliance standards.

Develop and groom potential talent within the branch for future leadership roles.

Analyse business performance and recommend actions to enhance channel profitability.

Drive, monitor, and implement branch projects aligned with annual strategic objectives.

Work Experience

8–15 years of experience in Retail Sales (Direct Sales / Agency).

Prior experience in Bancassurance, Government, Defence & Paramilitary sales preferred.

Background in banking and insurance sectors will be an added advantage.

Essential Qualification

Minimum Graduate ,Post Graduate Preferred

Preferred Skills

Retail Sales & Business development with team handling experience of minimum 4 years.

Ability and drive to achieve tight deadlines and manage customer expectations.

Excellent stakeholder management, people management and relationship building skills
