This role is focused on the design and development of RF, analog, and mixed-signal IC solutions for advanced mobile handset applications. The engineer will contribute across the full design cycle, from defining specifications and developing circuit blocks to supporting integration, silicon validation, and product-level performance improvements.

Responsibilities

Design and develop RF ICs for 4G/5G mobile handset applications, including LNAs, drivers, RF switches, and related functions in CMOS and SOI technologies.

Design analog and mixed-signal support blocks such as bandgaps, charge pumps, LDOs, level shifters, OpAmps, and bias/control circuits.

Support RF integration into multi-chip modules, including large-signal analysis, EM simulation, and correlation of simulation results with measurement data.

Contribute to device characterization, measurement troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis of RF and analog design issues.

Translate product and system requirements into clear design specifications and implementation plans.

Present design reviews, including expected performance, simulation results, silicon results, risks, and mitigation plans.

Provide regular project status updates and execute effectively in a fast-paced product development environment.

Required Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

3+ years of related experience or an equivalent amount of advanced education and expereince in RF/analog IC design, mixed-signal circuit design, or related semiconductor product development

Proven silicon tape-out experience and strong ownership of designs from concept through validation.

Experience designing with Cadence, ADS and HFSS or similar tools

Strong knowledge of RF design techniques, layout effects, EM-aware design, and practical tradeoffs in integrated RF circuits

Experience with measurements and characterization

Good understanding of device physics, especially tradeoffs for analog circuitry

Good communication skills, able to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

PhD in Electrical Engineering in Analog/RF IC design

Location:

We are open to this position being based in either our Munich, Germany, or Barcelona, Spain office.
