Responsibilities
Requirements Analysis
Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, tax, and compliance requirements.
Invoice Process Analysis
Analyze invoice receipt, validation, processing, approval, and archiving processes.
E-Invoicing Design
Define future-state e-invoicing processes, workflows, and business requirements.
Invoice Formats
Support requirements for structured e-invoice formats, including XRechnung and ZUGFeRD.
Business Scenarios
Define requirements for multi-entity, multi-country, and multi-VAT business scenarios.
Compliance Requirements
Ensure requirements address GoBD-compliant archiving and non-recoverable input VAT scenarios.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work with Finance, Tax, Accounts Payable, Compliance, IT, and implementation teams.
Workshop Facilitation
Facilitate stakeholder workshops to identify requirements, clarify needs, and resolve gaps.
Documentation
Prepare process flows, user stories, functional specifications, business requirements, and acceptance criteria.
Delivery Support
Support solution design, testing, defect resolution, deployment, and business readiness.
Requirements
Business Analysis Experience
6–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Consultant, or similar role.
Requirements Engineering
Proven experience translating complex business requirements into clear functional requirements and solution specifications.
E-Invoicing Expertise
Hands-on experience with e-invoicing, tax compliance, invoice automation, or finance transformation programs.
German E-Invoicing
Knowledge of German B2B e-invoicing regulations is preferred.
E-Invoice Standards
Knowledge of XRechnung, ZUGFeRD, and GoBD is strongly preferred.
Financial Systems
Experience with SAP, ERP systems, invoice management platforms, tax technology, or similar financial systems.
Process Optimization
Ability to identify opportunities to reduce manual activities, improve efficiency, and standardize processes.
Tax & Compliance
Understanding of tax and compliance requirements within financial and invoicing processes.
Stakeholder Management
Ability to collaborate effectively with Finance, Tax, IT, Compliance, and implementation stakeholders.
Solution Delivery
Experience supporting requirements through solution design, testing, deployment, and business readiness.
