Your work Profile

Design, develop, and maintain applications using Oracle APEX.

Develop complex SQL queries, PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.

Create interactive reports, classic reports, dashboards, forms, and charts using Oracle APEX.

Integrate Oracle APEX applications with REST APIs and external systems.

Develop and consume RESTful Web Services.

Perform application enhancements, bug fixes, and production support.

Optimize application performance and database queries.

Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.

Prepare technical documentation and deployment guides.

Support application testing, UAT, and production deployments.

Ensure application security and data integrity following Oracle best practices.

Required Skills

3–5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle APEX development.

Strong experience with Oracle APEX (19.x/20.x/21.x/22.x/23.x or later).

Strong expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.

Experience with Oracle Database 12c/19c/21c.

Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and jQuery.

Experience in developing Interactive Reports, Interactive Grids, Forms, and Dashboards.

Experience with REST APIs and Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).

Knowledge of database performance tuning and SQL optimization.

Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.

Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Exposure to Oracle Autonomous Database (ADB).

Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

Experience with Oracle Visual Builder or Oracle JET is an added advantage.

Basic understanding of security concepts such as authentication, authorization, and Single Sign-On (SSO).

Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Compensation

This Consultant role pays $12k/yr. Within typical range for consultant roles in India.
