Description and Requirements
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Client Manager (Key Account Manager) for our R+D Enterprise Accounts in South Germany (Stuttgart). The Client Manager will work collaboratively with the Inside Account Manager and further Business Units to manage all strategic (pre)sales activities for a given set of accounts. This position proactively works with the most senior decision makers at our clients and internal stakeholders to provide support of sales opportunities and ensures the appropriate portfolio of Lenovo products, services and software is solutioned to solve our client’s most complex business problems. The Client Manager is the opportunity owner and the relationship manager both externally and internally. He/She is a leader: mapping the client strategy with the Lenovo portfolio, gaining and sharing expertise of vertical markets along with a deep understanding of the technologies that will generate future, tangible opportunities for Lenovo.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and own the total customer relationship; responsible for revenue, share of wallet expansion, customer satisfaction and driving growth in assigned accounts
Strong business acumen and ability to link customer needs and business issues to solutions
Understand emerging technologies and products and Lenovo's strategies to address them
Collaborate with customers, sales team, extended Lenovo teams and external partners
Identify complex problems; work with other functions and/or team members to support the design and implementation of solutions which address those problems
Develop and maintain territory plans which outline how sales targets will be met on an ongoing basis
Work at all levels within an organization to deliver against a quarterly sales incentive target
Report on sales activity and update in Dynamics 365
Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity
Requirements:
Proven track record of managing and growing strategic customer accounts, including responsibility for revenue targets, customer satisfaction and share-of-wallet expansion.
Strong consultative selling and business acumen, with the ability to understand customer challenges and translate them into relevant technology solutions and business outcomes.
Experience engaging and building relationships with senior customer stakeholders and decision-makers, with the confidence to operate across different levels of an organization.
Good understanding of IT technologies, solutions and emerging trends, with the ability and willingness to continuously develop technical and industry knowledge.
Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills, combined with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, business units and external partners.
Proactive, entrepreneurial and results-oriented mindset, with strong ownership of opportunities and the ability to independently develop and execute account/territory plans.
Fluent German and English, both written and spoken, with a willingness to travel to customers across South Germany as required.
