HR Manager/Office Manager
About the role
A well-established general contractor in Braintree is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and dependable HR /Office Manager to take on a key administrative and human resources role within the company.
This is a hands-on, standalone position combining HR management, office administration, insurance coordination, and contract administration. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing the day-to-day operations of an office while independently handling a broad range of responsibilities.
The successful candidate will have 5+ years of HR and office management experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Human Resources
Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding.
Prepare new hire paperwork and maintain accurate employee records.
Coordinate employee benefits and HR-related matters.
Maintain organized and up-to-date employee files and HR documentation.
Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day employee questions and HR needs.
Assist with recruiting, hiring, and employee communications.
Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws and regulations.
Office Management
Oversee the daily operations of the company office.
Coordinate office vendors, supplies, and administrative needs.
Manage company records, correspondence, and documentation.
Support the CEO, President, and management team with day-to-day administrative needs.
Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Insurance and Contracts
Manage company insurance matters and coordinate with insurance brokers and carriers.
Prepare and manage owner contracts and related documentation.
Qualifications
5+ years of HR and office management experience.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Experience with HH2 and payroll systems.
Construction industry expereince preferred, but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Compensation
This HR & Recruiting role pays $65k-$90k/yr. Within typical range for hr & recruiting roles in United States.
