Packing Assembler Box Maker

Packaging support workers needed in East Butler (just east of downtown Butler; you will need transportation to get to this location). This is an entry level job in a plastics manufacturing environment.

This job is building boxes using a staple gun, filling boxes that weigh up to 20 pounds each, loading the box into a shrink wrap machine, palletizing each one and using a scanner to create a label and then label each box. This job requires keeping up with a quick pace and paying close attention to detail to ensure that boxes being shipped are going out correctly in a timely manner.

This is a longterm temporary position, that for the right person has lead to permanent employment and growth with this manufacturer. Pay rate of $17.00 an hour; would increase to $18.50 per hour upon permanent hire.

Various shifts are available: full time Monday- Friday- 7am- 3pm, OR full time Sunday- Thursday 11pm- 7am. And we have one opening for part time 3 days per week on the 3pm- 11pm shift.

Requirements:

Must wear safety shoes

Must be able to lift 25 pounds

Stand for the full 8 hour shift

Be able to bend and work with the boxes

Must pass a drug screen and a criminal background check
