About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Project Officer to support and manage afforestation, reforestation, and plantation projects across multiple locations. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background in forestry or environmental sciences and hands-on experience in planning, implementing, and monitoring plantation activities.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and monitor afforestation and plantation projects.

Conduct site assessments, plantation surveys, and field inspections.

Coordinate with local communities, government departments, contractors, and project stakeholders.

Ensure timely plantation activities, including site preparation, planting, maintenance, and survival monitoring.

Maintain project records, field reports, and progress documentation.

Monitor plantation health, growth rates, and survival percentages.

Ensure compliance with project guidelines, environmental standards, and reporting requirements.

Manage field teams and supervise plantation-related activities.

Travel extensively to project sites for monitoring, inspections, and stakeholder meetings.

Must have own vehicle & DL

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Botony,Zoology,Forestry, M.Sc. Forestry, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, or a related field.

Candidates with a Master's degree will be preferred.

Experience Requirements

3–5 years of relevant experience in afforestation, reforestation, forestry, plantation management, or related environmental projects.

Proven experience in managing field-based plantation projects.

Knowledge of plantation techniques, species selection, survival assessment, and field monitoring.

Must have own vehicle & DL

Skills & Competencies

Strong project coordination and field management skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Ability to work independently in remote field locations.

Good reporting, documentation, and data management skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and project reporting tools.

Salary

30,000 to 35,000 per month

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
