Location: Bangalore, India (Onsite) Experience: 2–6 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Working Days: 6 Days/Week (2nd & 4th Saturdays Off)
About the Role
XCEL Corp is looking for a Technical Project Manager with hands-on experience in software development and Agile delivery to manage projects from planning through successful delivery.
The ideal candidate should have experience working in a product-based company, understand software development processes, and be capable of managing technical teams, stakeholders, timelines, risks, and Agile delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and deliver software development projects from initiation to completion.
Define project scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and priorities.
Drive Agile practices and facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Manage product/project backlogs, user stories, estimation, sprint planning, and releases.
Coordinate with developers, QA engineers, UI/UX designers, product teams, and technical leads.
Track project progress, sprint goals, risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
Identify and resolve project blockers and ensure timely delivery.
Communicate project status, risks, and delivery updates to stakeholders and leadership.
Maintain project documentation, trackers, reports, and Agile metrics.
Drive continuous improvement in project execution, collaboration, and delivery processes.
Requirements
2–6 years of experience in Technical Project Management, Software Project Management, or related software delivery roles.
Mandatory experience in a software development environment.
Current or previous experience in a product-based company is mandatory.
Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, Scrum, sprint planning, backlog management, user stories, estimation, and release management.
Ability to understand software development processes and work effectively with technical teams.
Strong project planning, execution, tracking, risk management, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent stakeholder communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Tools
Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Trello, Microsoft Project, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Miro, or similar project management tools.
Education
B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related field is mandatory.
