Multi Club Manager - Manly Central & Manly Pittwater

THE OPPORTUNITY

Viva Leisure, parent company to Plus Fitness and one of Australia's leading fitness businesses, is looking for a Multi Club Manager to lead two of our thriving Manly clubs - Manly Central Ave and Manly Pittwater Road, just 350 metres apart.

Founded in 2004, Viva Leisure is Australia's largest independent health club operator and the first fitness business to list on the ASX. We're on a strong growth trajectory, and this role puts you right at the centre of it.

Manly is one of the most in-demand fitness markets on Sydney's Northern Beaches, and these two clubs prove it - demand has been strong enough to support a second nearby location, each fitted out with modern strength and cardio equipment, functional training zones, and a loyal local membership base. As Multi Club Manager, you'll take ownership of both, with the proximity between them making it easy to be visibly present, connected to both teams, and hands-on with members day to day.

You'll drive performance, lift member experience, and build a team culture that people want to be part of - with genuine autonomy to shape how these clubs run, backed by the resources of a national network behind you.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with:

Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

Certificate III/IV in Fitness (desirable)

Strong knowledge of and a passion for the Fitness Industry

Experience in sales and customer service, ideally within the fitness or retail sectors

Demonstrated people management and team leadership experience

Proven sales aptitude with a results-driven mindset and ability to meet targets

Outstanding communication and leadership skills, with a passion for engaging both team members and clients to strengthen the brand. Skilled in supporting diverse tasks and mentoring future leaders to help them achieve peak performance

Proven ability to drive operational excellence through strong organisational and formal operational skills. Capable of managing multiple priorities effectively, with a proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and agility in adapting to evolving business needs

Ability to be a role model and live our Viva values, and behaviours while being passionate about our brands. You will demonstrate professionalism, respect, courtesy and support

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver an exceptional member experience by greeting all visitors, supporting enquiries and trialists, and helping members find training options that meet their needs.

Lead and develop a high-performing team through effective recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance support.

Manage rostering and payroll processes accurately, ensuring staffing levels meet business and member needs.

Maintain high operational standards by ensuring clubs are clean, safe, well-presented, and fully equipped at all times.

Oversee equipment maintenance, safety checks, incident reporting, and inventory management across multiple locations.

Support local area marketing initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance member engagement and community awareness.

Complete administrative tasks with attention to detail and ensure full compliance with Viva Leisure policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
