About Entremettier

Entremettier Ltd is an established wholesale fruit and vegetable supplier based in New Covent Garden Market. We supply high-quality fresh produce and other products to hotels, restaurants, clubs and private clients across London, the Home Counties and the South East.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for two reliable and hardworking Delivery Drivers to join our transport team from the beginning of September 2026.

The Role

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient and punctual delivery of fresh fruit, vegetables and other products to our customers.

The working day starts at 3:00am and finishes at approximately 12:00pm. You will work Monday to Saturday, with every Sunday off.

This is a customer-facing role, so we are looking for drivers who take pride in their work, represent the company professionally and understand the importance of delivering orders accurately and on time.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Deliver fresh produce and other goods to customers across London and the surrounding areas.

Load and unload the vehicle safely and efficiently.

Ensure customer orders are delivered accurately, on time and in good condition.

Check delivery paperwork and ensure all goods are accounted for.

Provide excellent customer service at every delivery.

Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.

Follow planned delivery routes and instructions from the Transport Manager.

Keep the company vehicle clean, tidy and well maintained.

Handle fresh produce carefully to minimise damage and waste.

Follow all company health & safety, food hygiene and manual handling procedures.

Complete all required delivery and vehicle paperwork accurately.

Report shortages, damages, delivery issues or customer concerns to the Transport Manager.

Assist with loading, unloading and other transport duties when required.

Comply with all relevant road traffic and drivers' hours regulations.

Represent Entremettier professionally at all times.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

Reliable and punctual, particularly for a 3:00am start.

A confident and responsible driver.

Friendly, professional and customer-focused.

Physically fit and comfortable with loading and unloading goods.

Able to work independently and manage a busy delivery schedule.

Organised and able to follow instructions accurately.

Careful when handling fresh produce.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

A good communicator with customers and colleagues.

Flexible and willing to support the wider transport team when required.

Requirements

Full and valid UK driving licence cat B

Previous professional driving or delivery experience is preferred.

Experience delivering to restaurants, hotels, catering businesses or commercial customers would be an advantage.

Good knowledge of London and surrounding areas is desirable.

Good understanding of vehicle safety and daily checks.

Good communication skills and a professional attitude.

Right to work in the UK.

Must be comfortable with an early 3:00am start and manual handling.

What We Offer

£30,000 - £36,000 (depending on experience)

Monday to Saturday working pattern.

Every Sunday off.

20 days annual leave per year.
