The Role
In this role, you will work collaboratively alongside our client services team, serving as the go-to expert for complex issues and escalated requests that require a higher level of expertise, judgment, and problem-solving. From navigating owner and vendor relationships to coordinating major building projects and creating a thoughtful budget, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the trust and satisfaction of the communities we serve.
What You'll Do
Project-manage a full spectrum of maintenance activities; routine upkeep, repairs, emergency response, and large capital improvement projects, from kickoff through completion
Problem-solve maintenance issues and meet vendors on-site at the properties
Own and continuously improve SOPs for core maintenance processes to drive a better client experience
Prepare reports and provide recommendationsto the Board regarding property improvements and necessary repairs including recommendations for establishing priorities among various projects to be done
Lead client meetings and guide boards toward efficient, well-informed decisions
Create budgets for several real estate properties and present them to the board of directors
Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing vendors to our resources and foster long-term partnerships
What We're Looking For (Required)
7 or more years of experience in operations management or a closely related field
College degree
The ability to work in DC
The ability to be on call after hours one week per month, monitoring the emergency phone line on a rotating schedule with the team
Top notch communication skills - both written and verbal
A track record of proven excellence in providing customer service
Real estate experience of being, or having been, a homeowner in a condominium association is a plus but not required
Proficient skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace Products
