We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

Design and build Avaloq solutions aligned to agreed solution design/architecture and customer journey needs.

Configure and parameterise Avaloq to meet business requirements (Private Banking context).

Develop scripts and supporting components (e.g., PL/SQL, Unix shell) to enable functionality, automation and operational effectiveness.

Own unit and integration test development (write and maintain automated/manual tests to support Test Engineers’ execution).

Work end-to-end on deliveries: analysis, design, build, test support, deployment/release execution, and early life support.

Ensure compliance with mandatory/regulatory requirements for products/services delivered through the pod.

Maintain and evidence group controls, drive remediation actions, and resolve control gaps quickly.

Own operational stability and availability: debugging, incident/problem analysis, performance and integrity of supported services.

Collaborate with architects and cross-functional team members to ensure solutions fit the target architecture and are supportable in production.

To be successful, you will:

10+ years overall development experience, with 5+ years hands-on Avaloq (build + configuration).

Strong Avaloq platform knowledge (parameterisation, reporting, interfaces; plus understanding the proprietary scripting model).

Solid Private Banking domain understanding (customer journeys, products, servicing/ops considerations).

Strong SQL/PL/SQL capability and comfort with data investigation and performance-aware coding.

Good Unix/Linux and scripting (shell), plus operational tooling exposure (e.g., Control‑M scheduling).

Proven analysis/design skills: evaluate requirements, identify technical/business suitability, and propose options with trade-offs.

Experience working in Agile/DevOps delivery, able to keep automation and quality aligned with frequent releases.

Excellent communication and documentation: explain constraints clearly, produce structured solution/change docs, and support pod/project queries.
