About the role

Position Summary

As a Regional Product Manager, you will play a vital role in driving the success of Samsung Air Solutions in the Southeast Asia and Oceania (SEAO) region. Collaborating with key stakeholders from subsidiaries and the Suwon office (in South Korea), you will be responsible for developing and executing the System Air Conditioner (SAC) product strategy tailored to each market. In addition, you will also take on the role of Singapore subsidiary’s Air Conditioner Product Manager.

Success in this role requires strong collaboration with subsidiaries and the Suwon office, as well as the ability to build and maintain robust relationships in this fast-paced environment. Your efforts will ensure the effective delivery of strategic initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities

Regional R&R:

Oversee the Samsung System Air Conditioner (SAC) product portfolio in the SEAO region

Collaborate with Suwon office to drive SAC product portfolio management and product roadmap ensuring optimal penetration in different Verticals and pricing strategies for profitable growth in SEAO

Develop, execute and improve go-to-market strategies including product positioning, compelling Vertical solutions and new business opportunities

Maintain a clear understanding of market trends, competitors’ landscape, customer strategies and challenges, especially in B2B. Formulate and execute strategic plans in collaboration with subsidiaries

Conduct regular competitor benchmarking, analyse product specifications and price position

Manage the performance of new product launches, including developing and maintain KPI dashboard

Ensure alignment between supply forecasting and product lifecycle management processes with the overall product strategy

As the product expert, work closely with regional marketing specialist to provide inputs in marketing assets creation

Support day-to-day operations for product-related issues and proactively engage key stakeholders in Suwon office and subsidiaries

Local Subsidiary R&R:

Directly responsible for Singapore subsidiary - Air Conditioner product management

Manage day-to-day product management function and operations

Accountable for AC product demand planning and forecasting

Collaborate with Regional Marketing Team to develop and implement marketing initiatives

Work closely with local sales team and other functions to drive AC business

Experience, Skills & Qualifications Required

Degree in Business, Engineering or a related field

~8 years’ relevant experience in AC product management / development in relevant industries

Strong business acumen and commercial mindset to connect technology, product features and customer benefits

Experience in international, multi-cultural / multi-layered, dynamic environment

Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations

Agility and resilience to work and influence at a local, regional, and global level

Structured and strong in analytical skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Occasional travel within Southeast Asia & Oceania and to HQ based in South Korea
