At Grand Hyatt Barcelona, one of the city's most iconic luxury hotels, we are looking for a dedicated, proactive, and detail-oriented Housekeeping Valet to join our Housekeeping team.

This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of the Housekeeping department, ensuring that guest rooms, linen distribution, and housekeeping supplies are managed efficiently and according to Hyatt's luxury standards. Working closely with Room Attendants, Housekeeping Supervisors, Laundry, and other hotel departments, you will contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Handle soiled linen and transport it to the laundry following hotel procedures and quality standards.

Distribute clean linen, amenities, and housekeeping supplies to guest floors efficiently and accurately.

Prepare and replenish housekeeping trolleys with linen, cleaning products, amenities, and supplies according to occupancy levels and operational needs.

Deliver and manage special guest requests, including extra beds, baby cribs, and additional room amenities.

Support deep cleaning projects in guest rooms and public areas when required.

Ensure storage rooms, pantries, service areas, and housekeeping stations remain organized, clean, and fully stocked.

Monitor linen inventory levels, report discrepancies, and assist with the verification of laundry deliveries.

Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

Follow departmental checklists, policies, and operational procedures to maintain quality and consistency.

Assist in maintaining Hyatt brand standards and contribute to creating exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in Housekeeping, Laundry, Hospitality, Hotel Operations, or a similar role is preferred.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards.

Physical ability to lift, carry, and transport linen, supplies, and equipment safely.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to support colleagues when needed.

Ability to follow operational procedures, safety guidelines, and department standards.

Basic Spanish is required; additional language skills are considered an advantage.

Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays according to business needs.

Eligibility to work in Spain/EU.
