Draughtsman / Estimator

We are looking for an experienced Draughtsman / Estimator with a strong background in architectural metal, aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel works.

The candidate should be capable of preparing shop drawings, fabrication drawings, quantity take-offs, BOQs, material calculations, and cost estimates for architectural metal projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare AutoCAD shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and detailed drawings.

Prepare drawings for aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel works.

Carry out quantity take-offs and material calculations from drawings and specifications.

Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and quotation supporting documents.

Estimate material, fabrication, labor, finishing, installation, and related project costs.

Review architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents.

Coordinate with sales, technical, production, and site teams.

Revise drawings based on consultant/client comments and site requirements.

Prepare cutting lists, material schedules, and fabrication details.

Assist in technical submissions and project documentation.

Requirements

Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in architectural metal works.

Strong experience in AutoCAD drafting and estimation.

Good knowledge of aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel fabrication.

Experience with items such as handrails, balustrades, staircases, canopies, doors, windows, cladding, frames, and customized metal works.

Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.

Good understanding of material quantities, fabrication processes, and installation requirements.

UAE/GCC experience is preferred.

Knowledge of Excel and estimation software is an advantage.

Preferred Candidate: A technically strong Draughtsman who can independently handle both drawing preparation and project estimation for architectural metal and aluminum works.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
