Step into the fast-growing world of radar technology - where your deep learning research directly shapes how we detect and track drones and birds in real time!

As an AI & Deep Learning Intern, you will immerse yourself in cutting-edge radar tracking and classification research, working alongside our AI team to help build the next generation of intelligent radar systems. You will take ownership of a high-impact research track, from literature review through to implementation and evaluation. This role is part of the AI team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Investigate state-of-the-art techniques relevant to your chosen research track, which may include Radar Track Clustering, Contrastive Features, Input Channel Adaptation Layer, or Position Estimation.

- Adapt and implement deep learning strategies into our existing Python/PyTorch frameworks.

- Develop metrics and evaluate the quality of uncertainty estimates or classification accuracy.

- Investigate how your research improves downstream radar tasks, such as risk-aware decision-making or real-time drone detection.

- Deliver a documented software framework and a comparative study of methods.

REQUIREMENTS

- Currently enrolled in an educational institution, preferably pursuing an MSc in AI, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field.

- Proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks, specifically PyTorch.

- Strong understanding of neural network architectures (e.g., ResNet) and general deep learning concepts.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
