Flutter Developer - Digitech - Remote

Summary:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Flutter Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality cross-platform mobile and web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building Flutter applications for iOS and Android, a strong understanding of software engineering principles, and experience working within Agile development teams.

The Flutter Developer will collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and backend developers to deliver scalable, secure, and user-friendly applications that support business objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and maintain Flutter applications for mobile, web, and desktop platforms.

Build reusable, maintainable, and scalable code following established coding standards.

Implement responsive user interfaces based on UI/UX designs.

Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and third-party services.

Develop offline-first capabilities and local data storage solutions when required.

Participate in architecture and design discussions.

Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.

Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Debug and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production incidents.

Ensure application security and compliance with organizational standards.

Work closely with Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand requirements.

Collaborate with QA teams to ensure software quality and reliability.

Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.

Contribute to DevOps and CI/CD pipeline improvements.

Stay current with Flutter, Dart, mobile development trends, and emerging technologies.

Evaluate new tools and frameworks that improve development efficiency and product quality.

Document technical designs, configurations, and development processes.

Skills/Experience Required:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.

3+ years of software development experience.

2+ years of hands-on Flutter development experience.

Technical Skills: Flutter, Dart, Git source control, RESTful APIs, JSON, Mobile app architecture patterns, CI/CD pipelines, HTML/CSS & JavaScript

Preferred Skills: Firebase, MySQL databases, Experience with native Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift), Experience with web and desktop Flutter deployments, Knowledge of software security best practices

Experience developing and releasing applications to Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Experience integrating REST APIs and backend services.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
