About the role

Job Description

Seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for products to lead the design, validation, release, and launch support of fuel delivery and / or evaporative purge hardware. This role owns components from concept through production and works closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver robust, production-ready designs that meet performance, quality, cost, timing, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

 Lead design and release of engine fuel delivery and / or purge system components

 Take ownership of component development from concept through launch

 Interface with cross-functional teams such as program, supplier, purchasing, engine calibration,

manufacturing, supplier quality, etc.

 Manage engineering changes with cost, timing, or manufacturing impacts

 Lead DFMEA, DVP&R, validation, and PPAP activities with suppliers

 Serve as primary interface on design, tooling, testing, issue resolution, and launch readiness

 Support prototype, validation, plant, and launch builds

 Drive resolution of performance, durability, sealing, leak, noise, or other functional issues

 Identify cost optimization opportunities while maintaining performance and compliance

Basic Qualifications

 Bachelor of Science in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or aerospace engineering

 3+ years of related engineering experience

 Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills

 Experience with engineering change management process

 Experience with engineering drawings and GD&T

 Ability to manage multiple deliverables in fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

 Experience with fuel delivery, purge systems, or related engine hardware

 Experience with engine controls or diagnostics calibration

 Experience working with Tier-1 suppliers on design, validation, tooling, and launch

 Experience with APQP, PPAP, DFMEA / PFMEA, and automotive quality systems
