About the business/role/team

The Data, Analytics and Reporting (DAR) team sits within the Partnering & Insights function in Finance and is responsible for delivering data-driven insights, reporting, automation and analytics that support strategic decision-making across the Bank. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Data, Analytics and Reporting and work closely with Finance stakeholders, Finance IT, Finance Partners and business leaders to improve data quality, reporting and decision support capabilities.

The role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the delivery of the important Finance outcomes. The team is collaborative, innovative and focused on leveraging technology and data to drive operational efficiency and better business outcomes.

About the role

Support data analysis, process investigation and stakeholder engagement activities to deliver Finance data initiatives and identify opportunities to improve Finance processes, reporting and decision-making.

Design and deliver Power BI reporting and analytics solutions that automate manual activities, improve self-service access to insights, and enhance efficiency across Finance.

Identify data issues, understand data lineage and provide meaningful insights through data validation and reconciliation, root cause analysis, trend analysis and data quality assessments.

Conduct business process analysis activities, including current state analysis, future state design and gap analysis, to support process improvements and enhance Finance outcomes.

About you

Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, with experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards.

Ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions using reporting, modelling and analytics tools.

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with a collaborative and customer-focused approach.

Proactive, curious and adaptable, with a passion for improving processes through data and technology.

Experience in finance, reporting, analytics or business intelligence environments will be highly regarded.
