About the role

About us

Risk Ledger is developing a network of connected organisations, all working together to defend against cybersecurity attacks in the supply chain.

Organisations rely on us to establish trust, through sharing their security maturity and visualising the risks posed by their supply chain ecosystem. And we're already trusted by customers like ASOS, British Airways, BAE Systems and the NHS.

We are putting together an amazing and talented team from a diverse set of backgrounds and skillsets to drive us towards our vision. Risk Ledger is built on the respect we have for one another and our users, united by our shared values and mission.

Every one of us is still learning: it's how we grow as individuals. We're curious. We're ambitious. And we're humble and honest. At Risk Ledger, we aim high to find the best solutions we can and always put our users first.

The Team:

You'll join a cross-functional team of product managers, designers and engineers, all collaborating together with the wider business to achieve impactful product outcomes.

Everyone is involved from day one in shaping opportunities that provide outsized value to both clients and suppliers on Risk Ledger, always keeping the users at the forefront of our minds.

We care deeply about building the right thing, in order to fundamentally shift mindsets in the cybersecurity industry. We ship quickly & continuously in order to learn and iterate - whilst always pushing for high standards and keeping security top of mind.

This Role:

You'll join as a Senior Product Designer, playing a critical role in both shaping and designing our B2B SaaS product and steering its strategic direction. This position marks a pivotal moment in our journey, offering the chance to influence our user experience and design culture from the foundations set thus far.

You'll play a central role within your product team, collaborating closely with Product Management and Engineering to identify, define, and ship solutions to key customer challenges and opportunities. Your responsibilities will encompass the end-to-end design process, leading product and design discussions, helping contextualise customer needs to the wider team and driving the design of initiatives through to build.

Your attention to detail, deep understanding of our users, and persistent curiosity will be critical in driving forward our product's vision and impact.

In the role you will:

Get to know our customers. By directly interacting with customers, conducting research, and leveraging data, you'll be the advocate for their goals throughout the design process.

Design simple, predictable and powerful experiences. From early ideation and sketching to high-fidelity designs, you'll craft simple, predictable, and impactful user experiences.

Collaborate to deliver an exceptional product. From understanding initial needs to crafting usable solutions, you'll work directly with engineers to bring our product vision to life.

Move fast, with an eye for detail. You enjoy moving fast while maintaining high attention-to-detail, iterating as necessary.

Lead from the front. By asking the right questions at the right time, challenging assumptions, encouraging continued learning and driving positive impact through influence & respect.

Contribute to our design culture. You'll play a key part in evolving what Product Design is at Risk Ledger, helping to evolve our ways of working and showcasing what excellence looks like.

You will have:

Experience working as a B2B designer in an in-house product development team collaborating cross-functionally with key people across the business.

An ability to balance the needs of users, business objectives, and technical constraints to achieve the best possible product experience.

A natural curiosity about the product, customers and wider market, and a strong desire to continually learn and grow.

A systems-thinking mindset, with the ability to design cohesive experiences across complex products, workflows, and touch-points.

Pragmatism when it comes to the use of the right tools, frameworks and processes at the right time, adapting as necessary to the team and context.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt your communication style depending on the audience.
