Job Title: Senior Guidewire BillingCenter Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer

Location: Remote (US)

Job Description

Rockwoods seeking a Senior Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer with strong experience in Guidewire BillingCenter and its underlying data model. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience analyzing billing and financial data, troubleshooting upstream data issues, reconciling data extracts, and supporting enterprise reporting within a Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance environment.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and troubleshoot Guidewire BillingCenter data issues across upstream and downstream systems.

Work with the Guidewire BillingCenter data model, including Billing Transactions, Invoices, Billing Streams, Charge Patterns, and Commissions.

Perform SQL-based data analysis, reconciliation, and validation to ensure data quality.

Support financial reporting for Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and Cash Tie-Outs.

Define business metadata, data definitions, and semantic models to support enterprise reporting and AI initiatives.

Collaborate with business, finance, and engineering teams to resolve data discrepancies and improve reporting accuracy.

Required Skills

7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Analytics Engineer.

Strong Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain experience.

Hands-on experience with Guidewire BillingCenter and its data model.

Strong SQL skills with data mapping, reconciliation, and reporting experience.

Experience supporting AR, AP, GL, Cash Tie-Outs, and financial reporting.

Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, or other enterprise reporting platforms is a plus.
