Position Summary
Support and develop customer accounts for Japan-based OEM customers for ZF LIFETEC’s Passive Safety product portfolio including Airbags, Seat Belts, and Steering Wheels.
The role is responsible for driving day-to-day customer activities, RFQ coordination, quotation preparation, and commercial execution in alignment with account strategies.
Your Tasks
Manage customer-related commercial activities throughout all sales development phases from RFQ to serial production
Support business acquisition activities and account development for assigned customers
Coordinate customer quotations with internal departments including engineering, finance, operations, and product lines
Support customer negotiations for pricing, delivery, commercial conditions, and program changes
Drive execution of customer action items and internal follow-up activities
Support development of sales presentations and customer proposals
Maintain customer relationship and ensure timely communication with internal and external stakeholders
Support account profitability and sales performance activities
Coordinate prototype activities including quotation, delivery tracking, and customer communication when required
Your Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 5 years of sales or account management experience within the automotive industry (T1 suppiler)
Experience working with Japanese OEM customers preferred
Strong communication, coordination, and execution skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and drive actions in a fast-paced environment
Hands-on mindset with strong ownership and follow-up capability
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and multicultural organization
Business-level English and Japanese communication skills required
