Regional Assistant Manager Digital e-Commerce - Tiktok (2 years Contract)

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to lead Samsung's Digital Commerce initiatives in the Southeast Asia region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in e-commerce, strategic partnerships, and digital marketing, with a strong focus on platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive business growth, optimize online sales channels, and foster strong relationships with key partners to enhance Samsung's market presence in the region. The candidate will also serve as the primary point of contact for headquarters and external agencies, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment with regional stakeholders

Role and Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with key e-commerce platforms (TikTok) and other Digital partners

Negotiate and manage partnership agreements to ensure mutual benefits and alignment with Samsung's business goals

Manage both 1P (Retail) and 3PD (Marketplace) business models effectively, ensuring seamless integration and optimization of both channels to maximize sales and customer satisfaction

Represent local subsidiaries' voice on key requests and engage with regional platform partners to address their needs

Leads as the “Point of Contact” with Headquarters and External Agencies on all matters relating to this channel

Liaise with various internal regional stakeholders (Regional Performance Marketing, Campaigns, Business units, etc.) to ensure optimal regional support for business-as-usual (BAU) store operations as well as sales & marketing activities.

Regular close monitoring of business key indicators and store setup to assess local performance, including putting forth recommendations to improve the business

Liaise with partners on key platform initiatives such as Joint Business Planning, Integrated Trade In, Live Commerce, Affiliates expansion, etc.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

5 years of experience in e-commerce,category management or key account management.

Proven experience in managing partnerships with e-commerce platforms (TikTok).

Strong understanding of e-commerce metrics and data analysis.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Highly professional and collaborative individual with the a bility to interact well with all levels

Sound analytical skills, to be able to acquire and analyse data to draw actionable insights and apply towards sales achievement

Strong execution & follow through skills with multi-functional team & external partners
