About the role

Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Frontend Engineer to pioneer our web application development using Svelte and SvelteKit. You will lead a high-performing engineering team in Chennai, architect scalable user interfaces, and establish modern frontend engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design: Design and build high-performance, robust, and reusable Svelte component libraries and frameworks.

Team Leadership: Mentor a team of frontend engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive technical excellence.

Migration & Integration: Oversee the migration of legacy apps (React/Vue) to Svelte or integrate Svelte into existing systems.

Performance Tuning: Optimize application performance, load times, and state management for maximum speed and scalability.

Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers, UX/UI designers, and Backend teams to translate mockups into flawless code.

Required Technical Skills

Core UI Foundations: 8+ years of deep expertise in HTML5, CSS3, Modern JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.

Svelte Expertise: 3+ years of production experience with Svelte.js, SvelteKit, and store-based state management.

Build Tools: Strong experience with Vite, Webpack, Rollup, and NPM package optimization.

Testing: Proficiency in unit and integration testing tools like Vitest, Jest, or Playwright.

CI/CD & Version Control: Advanced knowledge of Git, GitHub/GitLab actions, and automated deployment pipelines.

Pay: ₹551,144.48 - ₹1,952,416.02 per year
