A Day in the Life:
JOB SUMMARY
This Assistant Analyst, FP&A assists the Senior Manager, FP&A, Asia in planning, budgeting and analysis of Asia Retail, Wholesale and Travel Retail businesses and participates in ad hoc projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare weekly and monthly performance analysis reports
Prepare regional management reports and ensure compliance with group policies
Report and analyze business performance, follow up on budget deviations
Work closely with the Senior Manager, FP&A, Asia to prepare annual budget and forecasts
Assist ad hoc analyses and work on special projects as needed
EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Degree in Finance or Accounting
1 year in financial planning, preferably in Retail industry
Strong excel and modelling skills
Knowledge in SAP is an advantage
Sound knowledge of US GAAP and International Accounting Standards
Excellent written and communications skills in English and Chinese are required
Ability to drive adherence to tight deadlines
