A family is looking for a RECREATIONAL SWIMMING INSTRUCTOR
Area: Paarl
Working hours: Mondays to Thursdays - 07h00 - 12h00 and or 12h00- 18h00
Duties: Private one to one lessons with young children who have completed our Water Safety and Survival Swimming programme. The candidate will be provided with a minimum 6-week compensated in house training programme, generally requiring approximately six hours per agreed training day.
Requirements: Female, confident in the water, patient, reliable and great with children. Clear spoken English (Afrikaans advantageous). Swimming experience is beneficial but not essential. Must be willing to undergo training and provide First Aid, CPR, police clearance and references before teaching independently. No students, as the role cannot accommodate exam or practical leave.
Start date: ASAP start – permanent contract
Salary: Training: R50 per hour. Once approved to teach independently: R150–R200 per hour
All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
Must have a clear criminal record
Must have a passion for children
Must have Matric
Must have a South African ID document.
