Job Description:

DTN is looking for an Associate Field Services Technician to join our Maintenance & Support team in Spain. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and technical support of electronic meteorological systems.

You will work with advanced meteorological equipment, supporting reliable system operation through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and technical documentation.

This position is ideal for an electronics or telecommunications technician who enjoys hands-on technical challenges, field work, and learning new technologies.

What you will be responsible for:

Install and commission electronic meteorological equipment and systems.

Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on meteorological systems.

Diagnose technical issues and troubleshoot electronic equipment failures.

Test and evaluate equipment performance.

Perform periodic inspections and system checks.

Carry out software updates and system configurations.

Follow electrical diagrams, wiring schematics, and technical documentation.

Replace and repair electronic components when required.

Support calibration and testing procedures.

Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, and documentation.

Maintain accurate records of completed work and future maintenance activities.

What you will bring to the role:

Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in maintenance, installation, or technical support of electronic equipment and systems.

Experience working in service companies focused on equipment maintenance and repair is preferred.

Experience in field service, industrial electronics, telecommunications, or automation environments is an advantage.

Education

Higher Vocational Training (Formación Profesional de Grado Superior) in one of the following areas:

Sistemas de Telecomunicaciones e Informáticos

Sistemas Electrotécnicos y Automatizados

Mantenimiento Electrónico

Automatización y Robótica Industrial

Technical Skills

Knowledge of electronics fundamentals, electrical principles, and troubleshooting techniques.

Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.

Experience with electronic components such as sensors, relays, meters, multimeters, analyzers, and data loggers.

Understanding of industrial electronics, instrumentation, control systems, and automation.

Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems and safety regulations.

Ability to perform equipment testing, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance.

Ability to document technical activities and prepare reports.

Required License

Valid Category B driving license.

Compensation:

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between €19,312.50 - €25,750 annually. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
