Job Description Summary

Responsible for driving delivery, realization, and execution of global strategies and regional direction setting to support Business Unit (BU) specific requirements, in alignment with global procurement leadership and support.

Job Description:

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Manage Site Indirect Procurement and General Stores Team to assure standardization, priorities, and alignment to local and global procedures

Manage staff and associated resources for Indirect Procurement and general stores related needs.

Monitor department scorecard and KPO´s aligned to the corporate strategy and create actions to accomplish and improve expected results.

Drive decision on Indirect Materials and Services suppliers according to supplier’s performance indicators

Approve PO´s according to procurement process and authority levels

Assist coordinators and users on problem solving with suppliers’ compliance to Comercial contracts

Track saving goals and create action plants

Monitor strategies and create actions with Commodity Managers and critical suppliers

Define and monitor department training plans, performance, and development

Required Skills and Education

Must have at least 4 years directly related experience on Indirect procurement management process, or related supply chain experience, preferred auto industry environment.

Experienced on purchasing indirect materials and services

Experience on suppliers’ assessments and commercial contracts and legal requirements

Experience on suppliers’ negotiation and saving initiatives

Advanced knowledge of supply chain management concepts (inventory, suppliers, customer demand, etc.)

Effective in working with a global team and lead decision-making processes in a team environment.

Must be highly motivated to drive actions for continuous improvement, set priorities and be goal oriented.

Ability to lead and develop high-performance teams, provide environment for motivation, good communication and demonstrate leadership skills.

Excellent interpersonal communication and listening ability Spanish and English
