Position: Garage Door Technician Location: Santa Rosa, CA Compensation: • $22/hour during paid training • Realistic annual earnings of $80,000–$150,000 after training Experience: No garage door or sales experience required – we’ll train the right candidate! Mechanical aptitude and comfort speaking with customers are key.

🔧 What You’ll Do

Install, service, and repair residential and light commercial garage doors and openers

Perform thorough inspections to identify issues and ensure safe, high-quality work

Explain findings and solution options to customers in a clear, respectful way

Recommend repairs or upgrades when they truly make sense for the customer

Document work with notes and photos for efficiency and follow-up

Communicate professionally with teammates and customers

Always put safety first—yours, your team’s, and your customers’

Deliver excellent service that builds trust, referrals, and repeat business

👷 What We’re Looking For

Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn a skilled trade

Comfortable talking with homeowners and explaining solutions (sales experience not required)

Positive attitude, coachability, and strong work ethic

Valid driver’s license and clean MVR

Ability to lift 75+ lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical work

Strong communication and customer service skills

Familiarity with OSHA safety standards is a plus

Experience with garage doors or ServiceTitan is helpful—but not required
