The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced, professional, and enthusiastic Deputy Hotel Manager to lead our dedicated team and oversee all aspects of the hotel's daily operations. This is a pivotal management role for a dynamic individual with a passion for hospitality, a hands-on approach, and the leadership skills to maintain our high standards of service and guest satisfaction.

You will work closely with department heads (HODs) to ensure seamless cross-departmental coordination, drive efficiency, and continue to deliver the exceptional service that our guests consistently praise in reviews.

Key Responsibilities

Provide dynamic, hands-on oversight of all hotel functions to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Foster effective communication and collaboration across all teams, including Front Office, F&B, Accommodation, and Maintenance.

Work with the management team to achieve optimum sales levels and manage operational costs effectively.

Ensure the implementation and adherence to all company operating standards, including quality of service, presentation, and HACCP plans.

Assist in the management and development of staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management, in conjunction with the Hotel Manager.

Proactively manage guest relations, ensuring all feedback is addressed and high satisfaction levels are maintained.

Oversee Health & Safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Requirements

Proven leadership experience in a similar deputy hotel management position or two years in a head of department role within a busy 4 or 5-star Irish property.

Strong background in hotel operations, with comprehensive knowledge of room revenue, F&B, and accommodation management.

Excellent people skills, with a proven ability to lead and motivate a large team.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.

A proactive and reliable attitude, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced city-centre environment.

Pay: €60,000.00-€70,000.00 per year
