Position Description

ENSCO Avionics is looking for mechanical engineers to support one of our local customers. You will be responsible for:

• Preparing designs and specifications, assisting in generation of layouts • Preparing and checking drawing and processes changes as required for production and customers • Assuring form, fit, and function of components through dimensional studies, and correlating engineering data to customer specifications • Interfacing with other departments for the manufacturing and testing of samples • Interfacing with customers and vendors to assure conformance to customer specifications • Coordinating the manufacturing of customer prototypes • Performing the functions required to process estimate requests and marketing product requests • Performing engineering investigations of manufacturing/quality problems • Reviewing customer documents for compliance with AMHS documents and if necessary, preparing new designs to conform to these documents • Working closely with the Business Development Managers and Product Managers of various business units • Regularly and proactively communicating with customers, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, Process, Purchasing, and experimental personnel

Qualifications Required • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field or equivalent experience • Minimum 3 years of related experience • Experience in design or design engineering • Experience with AutoCAD and/or Creo is preferred • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Salary Range

$73,923.20 - $131,331.20 USD
