About the role

Our Brazil Project Execution team is expanding to support a strong pipeline of EPC/EPCM projects within our Minerals & Metals business. We're seeking an experienced Procurement, Manager to lead project controls activities across multiple project locations and contribute to both ongoing and future project delivery.

About the role

The Procurement, Manager will be responsible for leading procurement and contracting activities across projects, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of equipment, materials, and services. This role plays a critical part in supporting successful project delivery, managing supplier relationships, driving procurement excellence, and developing procurement capabilities across the organization.

Leading and developing a team of Procurement and Contracts professionals through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.

Developing and implementing project procurement plans, including sourcing and contracting strategies aligned with project objectives.

Managing the procurement of equipment, materials, and services to ensure delivery within project schedules and budgets.

Leading and supporting commercial negotiations with suppliers and contractors to achieve the best value outcomes.

Monitoring procurement performance, maintaining accurate records, and delivering consistent reporting on procurement activities.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with project teams, clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.

Supporting the continuous improvement of procurement processes, systems, and best practices.

Ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, and health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Contributing to the development of procurement capability across the business through knowledge sharing and team development initiatives.

About You

Minimum of 15+ years of procurement experience within mining, manufacturing, EPC/EPCM, engineering consultancy, or major project environments.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.

Proven experience managing procurement and contracts activities for large-scale projects.

Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to achieve cost-effective procurement outcomes.

Experience developing and executing procurement strategies, sourcing plans, and contract management processes.

Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Demonstrated leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring, and developing procurement professionals.

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in multicultural and project-based environments.

Willingness to travel as required to support project and business needs.

A collaborative, proactive, and results-oriented approach with a strong focus on client success.

Professional proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in international and multicultural environments.
