Your Impact:

We are seeking a VP of Operations to join our leadership team and contribute to the global strategy and execution of operations at Formlabs. This executive will lead manufacturing engineering, supply demand management, logistics, supply chain, or materials operations—ensuring precision, scale, and efficiency across our entire product ecosystem.

As our business expands across hardware, software, and materials, this leader will define how we evolve our operational processes, our global reach, and unlock new opportunities for growth.

What You’ll Do:

Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer

Build and execute a multi-year strategy to scale Formlabs’ global operations and product capabilities

Lead manufacturing and operations engineering, developing and refining processes and tooling that ensure high-quality, high-precision products at scale

Oversee supply demand management: forecasting demand, aligning supply to financial and sales goals, managing factory builds, and ensuring smooth customer allocation during NPIs

Drive logistics and supply chain excellence: negotiating with partners, optimizing global systems and processes, and delivering a seamless customer experience our global manufacturing footprint and partnerships to meet increasing demand across hardware and materials

Partner closely with R&D, product, and go-to-market teams to support new product introductions and material launches

Identify and pursue adjacent business opportunities that drive revenue growth and margin expansion

Establish best-in-class operational practices, cost structures, and sustainability measures to strengthen market leadership

About You:

MBA or equivalent leadership experience

Strong background in operations, supply chain, and manufacturing

Proven success scaling global, multi-site manufacturing networks

Deep expertise leading operations across manufacturing engineering, supply chain and or logistics

Track record of building strong vendor relationships and negotiating high-value contracts

Demonstrated ability to craft and execute long-term strategies that capabilities, improve margins, and enable growth at scale

Compensation

We are all owners of Formlabs and direct beneficiaries of our success. We believe that equity is a critical component of compensation at Formlabs, and we want our newest team members to understand the potential value of their equity compensation. Full time employees receive equity, in the form of RSUs. Your financial investment will grow with us in accordance to your impact.

At Formlabs, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location and expected impact on the organization.

The annual base pay range for this role is:

$175,000 - $300,000 USD
