Front-End Developer (React)

Rate: $30/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Front-End Developer to join a collaborative Agile team focused on building modern, scalable, and user-centric web applications. This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in React, modern JavaScript frameworks, and front-end development best practices.

The successful candidate will work closely with product managers, designers, and back-end engineers to develop responsive, high-quality user interfaces and deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React and related front-end technologies.

Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable UI components following industry best practices.

Implement and manage application state using modern state management approaches and libraries.

Collaborate with UX/UI designers to transform wireframes and design concepts into responsive, accessible, and visually appealing interfaces.

Integrate front-end applications with APIs and backend services.

Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices.

Develop and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality.

Support CI/CD processes and contribute to deployment automation efforts.

Work within an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and other team ceremonies.

Required Qualifications

Professional experience developing front-end applications using React.

Strong understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.

Experience building reusable components and implementing responsive web designs.

Familiarity with React concepts such as components, hooks, state management, and application lifecycle.

Experience integrating applications with RESTful APIs and web services.

Knowledge of authentication and authorization concepts within web applications.

Experience working with modern styling solutions, such as CSS, SCSS, Tailwind CSS, styled-components, or similar frameworks.

Familiarity with testing frameworks and quality assurance practices.

Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.

Experience working in Agile development environments.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or similar solutions.

Familiarity with modern testing tools, including Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or equivalent frameworks.

Exposure to cloud-based development environments and DevOps practices.

Experience working with design tools such as Figma.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

Experience integrating reporting and analytics platforms into web applications.

Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar project management and development platforms.
