About the role

Zelh is a fast-growing outsourcing company that partners with leading US logistics organizations.

Our mission is to become the most reliable outsourcing partner by delivering consistently high-quality services and building long-term relationships with our clients, employees, and partners. We believe that personal attention, timely communication, continuous improvement, and respect are the foundation of everything we do.

We are currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our growing operations team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting transportation operations by building and progressing truckload shipments, managing pickup and delivery appointments, coordinating with internal teams and customers, and ensuring shipments move efficiently from start to finish.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced logistics environment, has strong organizational skills, pays close attention to detail, and is passionate about process improvement.

Responsibilities

Build 40–50 truckload (TL) shipments per day by accurately entering shipment information into Echo's transportation management systems.

Build loads according to account-specific SOPs.

Schedule, reschedule, and manage pickup and delivery appointments.

Support transportation operations through appointment management, transportation scheduling, load progression, issue resolution, and day-to-day operational coordination.

Follow account-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure all shipments meet customer and operational requirements.

Review shipment information for accuracy, including locations, appointment dates, references, commodities, and special instructions before releasing loads.

Document shipment updates, notes, and scheduling history to maintain complete operational visibility.

Communicate with shippers, receivers, carriers, customers, and internal operational teams to confirm or resolve appointment and shipment-related issues.

Respond to operational emails promptly and professionally while ensuring timely resolution.

Partner closely with Sales, Operations, and other internal teams to remove scheduling and load-building responsibilities from their daily workflow.

Escalate operational blockers, exceptions, recurring issues, or customer concerns to the appropriate managers when necessary.

Continuously identify opportunities to improve workflows, automate repetitive processes, and increase operational efficiency while maintaining high accuracy.

Meet individual and team productivity and quality KPIs in a metrics-driven environment.

We're looking for someone who is:

Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experienced in transportation, logistics, scheduling, dispatch, customer service, operations, or related administrative roles on the US market.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

Able to multitask and manage several priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision.

Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-oriented.

A collaborative team player who enjoys working cross-functionally.

Strong in time management and problem-solving.

Comfortable learning new systems and technologies.

Technical Requirements:

Working knowledge of Optimizer and Accelerator for load building is preferred.

Experience scheduling appointments through BiggerPicture and building loads through Vooma is considered an advantage.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and Google Sheets.

Strong computer literacy with excellent internet navigation skills.

Comfortable working with transportation management systems (TMS).

Typing speed of at least 20 words per minute.

Ability to recognize opportunities for process improvement and automation.
