Job Description

As a Scrum Master, you'll bring expertise in Agile methodologies and practices, supporting teams to achieve successful outcomes. You'll facilitate productive and purposeful meetings where every voice is heard and outcomes are clear. You'll help teams work towards sprint goals and objectives, remove obstacles, and support sustainable delivery towards releases.

Your coaching will help teams take responsibility for their processes, and your ability to identify early signs of conflict will help address challenges before they escalate. Job Responsibilities

Ceremonies – facilitate key Agile ceremonies and planning activities, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives and release planning, to support collaboration and transparency.

Supporting estimation – guide the team in estimating user stories and tasks, supporting shared understanding and realistic sprint commitments.

Removing impediments – identify and resolve impediments that affect team progress by working with stakeholders and external groups, helping the team remain focused on sprint and release objectives. Represent the team in Scrum of Scrums and other cross-team coordination meetings where required.

Collaborating with Product Owners – work closely with Product Owners to maintain a prioritised and visible product backlog and support adherence to agreed priorities and scope.

Sprint focus – guide the team in maintaining focus on sprint goals and release deliverables.

Team development – support team development by helping teams address challenges, resolve conflicts, manage interpersonal issues and access development opportunities that strengthen overall effectiveness.

Continuous improvement – facilitate retrospectives and support the team in identifying and implementing improvements to processes and ways of working.

Promoting Agile principles and practices – guide the team in applying Agile frameworks and methodologies, with a focus on quality outcomes and delivery capability.

Facilitating readiness for demos and releases – support preparation for stakeholder demonstrations and releases, ensuring readiness for key milestones.

Contributing to the Agile community of practice – collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile practitioners to share knowledge, promote effective practices and strengthen Agile capability across the organisation.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

Experience applying Agile methodologies and practices.

Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings that are purposeful, engaging and effective.

Experience working with multiple Scrum teams.

Experience coaching teams and encouraging responsibility for team processes.

Ability to identify early signs of team conflict and apply appropriate resolution approaches.

Ability to operate as both a day-to-day coach and adviser.

Desirable Requirements

Experience representing teams within Scrum of Scrums or similar cross-team forums.

Experience contributing to Agile communities of practice.

Experience supporting organisational Agile capability development.

Salary range: 60000-75000 Euros Per year
