Engineering Team Lead

Title: Engineering Team Lead

Job Location: 465 Main St, Buffalo, NY 14203. Position requires in-office work four (4) days every week.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology or related technical field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, IT Consultant or a related occupation.

Requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following:

Java Development for both Frontend and Backend Applications, including gathering customer requirements with stakeholders and end users, creating high-level architecture and designs, developing prototypes and features, conducting unit testing, and providing maintenance support;

API Services (including microservices) and Web Application Development using Java and supporting frameworks including SpringBoot, Spring, REST API, and SOAP;

Building and designing databases and data warehouses using Oracle or similar relational databases including MS SQL Server or MySQL; and

Batch processing using Java for data movement and transformation.

Requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following:

Leading and guiding the work of technical staff;

Running and administering applications;

Developing and maintaining integration applications in Enterprise Service Bus tools;

Java middleware orchestration libraries including Apache Camel;

JavaScript, frontend application development; and

DevOps Architecture and Delivery using Jenkins and GitLab.

Salary: $146,030.00-$156,030.00 per year
