Roles and Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data engineering solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, SQL, Python, and PySpark.
Develop and optimize data models, data architecture, and database designs to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence needs through platforms such as Power BI.
Implement data governance, security, and compliance practices using tools such as Microsoft Purview or Unity Catalog to ensure trusted and well-managed data assets.
Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data solutions, support Azure DevOps CI/CD practices, and drive continuous improvement across data platforms.
Key Technical Skills
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of experience in data engineering, including 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI, Azure Databricks, ADF.
Strong experience in data modeling, data architecture, and database design.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance practices, with hands-on experience in tools such as Microsoft Purview or Unity Catalog.
Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD for data solutions.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead teams.
