Job Description

The Senior Accountant will be responsible, among other things for:

Handling the bookkeeping of the company (following defined accounting scheme or implementing new accounting scheme corresponding to new business area / products)

Being the accounting interface between HQ accounting, regulatory reporting & consolidation and Accounting IS/IT Teams and MFS Nordic on ongoing & ad-hoc topics

Supporting the development and integration of new accounting software systems (VISMA & SAP)

Helping in the implementation of the Group and Local accounting principles and support the compliance work, responsible of accounting Operational Risks together with other team members.

Closing work according to PERT file: organizing workload and securing all tasks are assigned, performed and have an operational back-up

Monthly reconciliations: supervise work and completion of own scope

Monthly closure and consolidation into the group consolidation software (Magnitude)

Monthly SURFI reporting to HQ

External regulatory reporting toward local or Central authorities (Central Bank)

VAT (SE, NO, DK) and EU VAT declarations

Annual report preparation & validation with the external auditors and local contributors

Should be able to support or substitute the other team members on accounting matters if needed during the monthly closure

Support and cooperate during external and internal audits
