CMMC Consultant (m/w/d)

Our client in the 92 postcode area is preparing for CMMC 2.0 Level 2 certification. We are expressly not looking for an auditor or certifier, but rather an experienced CMMC readiness expert with proven implementation experience in the context of CMMC 2.0 and NIST SP 800-171.

20%/30% capacity – depending on consultation and project requirements

Start date: as soon as possible (from July 2026)

Working arrangements: predominantly remote, with occasional on-site work

The consultant should ensure that our client:

correctly defines the scope;

fully understands and implements the requirements of NIST SP 800-171;

structures the necessary documentation in a way that is audit-ready;

avoids typical errors and misinterpretations;

achieves a robust level of readiness prior to the official assessment;

and successfully passes a subsequent CMMC Level 2 assessment.

Duration: project-based.

Close collaboration with the in-house project manager and relevant stakeholders from management and specialist departments.
