What you'll do

Negotiate material cost

Negotiate Payment terms, Incoterms and other terms & conditions(T&C)

Identify and submit cost reductions

Establish Supply Base Operating Guidelines requirements with supplier base

Negotiate and Update pricing, Lead time(LT) and minimum order quantities(MOQ)/standard packs

If supplier change is required, notify plants on transition plan

Update T&C in JD Edwards system (ERP system)

Request, review and analyze quotes and select best total cost part

Update and submit quotes to Quote

database/requestor

Award new business to suppliers

Input new parts into ERP system

What we are looking for

Perform supplier on site or phone audits based on IATF Quality standard as needed (new and/or current)

Knowledge in IATF16949 Quality Standard

Follow up on tooled components and PPAP approval documentation

3-5 years of responsible experience in purchasing, contracting, purchasing policy and procedure. Buying

for a large organization; or Equivalent combination of training, education, and

experience. BA/ BS Degree in Business or Engineering
