Sr. Manager, Finance - US Tax

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Tax provision and Compliance to own and manage our global income tax provision process and tax compliance function. Reporting to the VP of Tax, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting under ASC 740 and compliance with federal/state regulations.

Lead the Quarterly/Annual provision process: Prepare and review the quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provision, including current/deferred taxes, valuation allowances, and uncertain tax positions (FIN 48)

Financial reporting disclosures: Prepare tax footnotes and supporting workpapers for SEC filings (10Q, 10K) and annual reports.

Audit management: Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors regarding tax provision workpapers and documentation.

Effective tax rate analysis: Analyze and communicate the drivers of the consolidated effective tax rate and cash tax forecast.

Internal controls: Maintain and document tax policies and procedures in compliance with SOX 404 requirements.

Tax compliance - 30-40%: Review tax returns prepared by the third-party consultants and ensure accurate and timely preparation of the US federal and multi-state income tax returns, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Return-to-provision: Reconcile book-to-tax differences, performing return to provision adjustments.

Process improvement: Enhance tax provision process to drive accuracy and efficiency.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred

Experience: 8-10+ years of experience, with a mix of Big 4 public accounting and in-house corporate tax experience
