What Is SAP SuccessFactors?

SAP SuccessFactors is the applicant tracking system used by 25% of Fortune 500 companies. SuccessFactors handles recruitment, onboarding, and HR for enterprises like Siemens, BASF, Cisco, and Nestle.

The applicant experience: a multi-step wizard running on *.successfactors.com URLs. The average SuccessFactors application takes 35-45 minutes to complete manually because it re-asks for every field already on your resume. Field-by-field duplication is the #1 quit trigger.

How to Apply on SuccessFactors Fast

  1. Create an account on the company career portal (not generic SuccessFactors). SuccessFactors profiles are tenant-scoped, not portable.
  2. Use the LinkedIn import on the first page. It pre-fills about 40% of fields and saves 15 minutes.
  3. Upload your resume as PDF. The SuccessFactors parser is the most aggressive. It will auto-populate work history but break on tables, columns, and icons.

Oracle Recruiting Cloud, formerly Taleo Cloud Service, is Oracle’s modern ATS used by Oracle, Broadcom, Marriott, and most legacy enterprises running Oracle HCM.

Fill out every section. Click Save often. If you see Save and Continue, click it before reading the next field. Lost sessions are the #1 applicant complaint on Oracle Recruit.

What Is UKG Pro Recruiting?

UKG Pro Recruiting is the dominant mid-market ATS in the US, used by 30,000+ employers across healthcare, retail, hospitality, and logistics. UKG handles clinical nursing, retail shift work, and hourly field roles at scale.

The UKG applicant experience is mobile-first and surprisingly fast for hourly roles. Office-role applications run longer (8-12 minutes). The parser is middle-tier: cleaner than SuccessFactors, worse than Greenhouse.

UKG has strong LinkedIn and Indeed integration. Use either for one-click Apply where available. That skips the entire wizard.

What Is BambooHR Recruiting?

BambooHR applications are the shortest of the four. Typically 5-8 minutes. Parser quality is strong. The hiring process is smaller-company-flavored: direct recruiter review within 3-5 days typically, no elaborate knockout questions.

BambooHR is the ATS you want to land on. If your role is posted on BambooHR, you are applying to a small team where your resume will actually be read.

Which ATS Parses Resumes Best?

BambooHR parses resumes cleanest. Greenhouse and UKG Pro tie for second. SuccessFactors and Oracle Recruit are the worst. They regularly drop bullet points from multi-column PDFs and fail on tables.

Universal rule: use a single-column PDF with standard section headings. Test your parse by creating a free account, uploading the resume, and checking which fields auto-populate. Which Is the Worst ATS to Apply On?

Taleo and Oracle Recruit tie as the worst ATS for applicants in 2026. Multi-step wizards with aggressive session timeouts, broken parsers, and mandatory duplicate data entry make a single application take 30-45 minutes. Workday is not much kinder. Can You Auto-Apply on SuccessFactors and Oracle Recruit?
