About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Partner with Global Product Safety Leaders and cross-functional teams to drive effective risk management strategies.

Lead the coordination and delivery of high-quality, regulatory-compliant Risk Management Plans and Aggregate Reports.

Coordinate contributors across functions to secure quality content, annexes, and supporting documentation.

Review risk management documents for consistency, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Ensure timely development, review, and submission of safety documentation to global health authorities.

Manage Health Authority commitments and track implementation activities across global and local stakeholders.

Support responses to Health Authority feedback and ensure approved requirements are effectively implemented.

Provide training, guidance, and subject matter expertise on risk management processes and requirements.

Contribute to process improvement initiatives, digital innovation, and Artificial Intelligence-enabled solutions.

Represent Risk Management expertise in inspections, audits, and cross-functional quality improvement projects.

Essential Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in drug safety, clinical research, or regulatory affairs and Minimum 1 years of Global RMP management experience within the pharmaceutical industry.

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related scientific field.

Fluent written and spoken English with strong scientific communication and document writing skills.

Strong knowledge of global regulatory requirements, clinical drug development, and pharmacovigilance processes.

Proven ability to collaborate across complex cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Ability to analyze and interpret safety and efficacy data and translate findings into clear regulatory documentation.

Desirable Skills

Advanced degree such as Master of Science, Doctor of Pharmacy, or Doctor of Philosophy.

Experience in preparing Aggregate reports like PSUR, DSUR or PADER.

Additional language skills are considered an advantage

Expected Annual Base Salary Range for role: € 46,300 to € 86,100

The base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters.
