Castle Vale Service Station, a trusted and established garage in the Castle Vale area, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. If you have a passion for cars, excellent mechanical skills, and the ability to contribute to the smooth operation of a busy garage, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

General Maintenance & Repairs: Perform routine car maintenance, including servicing vehicles and completing basic mechanical repairs.

Clutch & Cambelt Work: Diagnose, repair, and replace clutches and cambelts with precision and efficiency.

Brake and Suspension Systems: Conduct inspections, repairs, and replacements of brake pads, discs, and suspension components.

Engine Work: Handle engine diagnostics, repairs, and associated mechanical tasks.

Tyre Services: Replace and balance tyres as needed.

Customer Interaction: Assist with answering phone calls, booking in clients, and addressing customer inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.

Garage Operations: Help maintain the day-to-day operations of the garage, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring tools and equipment are organized and in good condition.

Requirements

Experience: Must have previous garage experince in a automotive repair role is essential.

Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with clutches, cambelts, brakes, suspension, engine repairs, and tyre replacements.

Customer Service Skills: Strong communication skills to assist with client bookings and inquiries.

Organizational Skills: Ability to ensure the smooth running of the garage, including operational tasks.

Availability: Flexibility to work during operating hours, including early starts and occasional extended hours if required.
