About the role

Job Overview

We are currently looking for a full time Metal Fabricator/Welder to work in a steel fabrication environment. We are a metal fabrication company manufacturing and installing handrail and balustrade systems, steel staircases and bespoke projects. Applicant will be working with mild steel and stainless steel and must be able to Mig or Tig weld.

This role requires working in the factory as part of a small team and also site work/working away from home occasionally.

Hours of work Monday to Thursday 7.45 am to 16.30pm and Fridays 8.00am to 13.30pm

Preferably with a full driving licence.

CSCS card preferred

Responsibilities

Use hand tools, power tools and specialised equipment to cut, shape and assemble metal pieces.

Operate fabrication machinery safely and efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience in welding with an understanding of welding standards.

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and fabrication equipment.

Ability to read basic drawings.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: £12.71-£16.00 per hour
