Join the Global SVE (System/Validation/Emulation) team at QCOM Technologies Inc, dedicated to delivering advanced solutions for the design of next-generation wireless products. As a leader in 5G innovation, Qualcomm is at the forefront of connectivity advancements that are transforming industries, generating employment opportunities, and enhancing quality of life. The Global SVE team is seeking C++ Developers and Engineers to contribute to the development of CAD tools and software for supporting the latest designs, methodologies, technologies, algorithms, and automation.
This role will include:
Develop and maintain C++ software and automation used in chip validation and emulation flows.
Debug software/tool issues with support from senior engineers and domain experts.
Contribute enhancements to existing CAD/EDA tools, methodologies and automation flows.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to learn design, validation and emulation workflows
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
0–2+ years of relevant software development experience, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Must-have
Strong foundation in C++ programming.
Understanding of data structures and basic algorithms.
Ability to debug software issues methodically.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Nice to have
Master's or PhD. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Applied Mathematics
Exposure to VLSI design concepts, logic design
Preferred programming experience with Python
Exposure to modern C++, such as C++11, C++17, or C++20.
Python scripting experience.
Exposure to CAD/EDA tools, VLSI concepts, logic design, or chip validation workflows.
Background in mathematics, algorithms, or performance-oriented software.
Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Science and/or Engineering Preferred: Master's or PhD's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Applied Mathematics

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
