About the role

Data Analyst, Social Impact & Systems Reporting Lead

Global Sisters Remote, anywhere in Australia Flexible, 4 days per week

About Us

Global Sisters is a national, award-winning nonprofit dedicated to breaking down barriers to women’s economic security. With over ten years of expertise, we focus on women’s micro business and self-employment. We are driven not only by the desire to create meaningful direct impact on women’s economic futures, but also to transform the systems and structures that are holding women back.

To do this well, we need to understand what is changing for the women we work with, where our programs are making a difference, and where we can keep improving. Strong data, reliable systems and clear reporting help us make better decisions, strengthen our impact and tell the story of women’s progress through entrepreneurship and self-employment.

About the role

The Data Analyst, Social Impact & Systems Reporting Lead will play a key role in making sure Global Sisters has the data foundations it needs to measure and understand impact with confidence. This role is responsible for maintaining trustworthy dashboards, clear reporting logic, strong data quality practices and meaningful impact measurement across HubSpot, Portal and related systems.

Reporting to the COO and working closely with the CXO, Executive Leadership Team, Systems, Operations and Program teams, you will help turn strategic and program questions into practical metrics, cohorts and reporting frameworks.

You will support the organisation to track engagement, participation, progression and change over time, while making sure survey, system and process changes do not quietly create reporting issues down the track.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity, asking good questions and turning data into useful insight. You will help Global Sisters understand what is changing, for whom and why it matters, while strengthening the reporting and measurement foundations that support women’s economic security.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will:

- Own and improve core impact, project and funder dashboards across HubSpot, Portal and related systems

-Maintain quality longitudinal data across key impact measures, including engagement, participation, progression and change over time

- Turn leadership, program and funder questions into practical metrics, cohorts and reporting logic

-Maintain clear definitions so everyone understands what is being measured and how

- Strengthen data quality by setting standards, running checks and problem-solving data gaps

- Work with Systems, Operations and Program teams to improve data capture, structure and cross-system analytics

- Support impact survey changes so reporting remains consistent and longitudinal data is protected

- Prepare reporting packs with trends, insights, limitations and recommendations for impact reporting and advocacy

- Help the organisation understand what is changing, for whom and why it matters

About you

This role would suit someone with some or all of the following:

- Experience in data analysis, reporting, impact measurement, CRM reporting or systems-based analytics

-Strong ability to translate complex questions into clear metrics, dashboards and useful insights

- Strong capability with CRM-based reporting, especially HubSpot, and confidence analysing data across multiple systems

- Strong understanding of data quality, data governance, naming conventions, required fields and reporting logic

- Comfort working with surveys, cohorts, longitudinal data or change-over-time reporting

- Strong documentation habits and the ability to create clear definitions, processes and practical guidance for others

- Ability to explain data limitations responsibly and turn imperfect data into decision-useful insight

- Confidence working collaboratively with leadership, systems, operations and program teams

- Comfort working autonomously within a remote team

- Strong interest in women’s economic security, women’s micro business, entrepreneurship and social impact
