Software Engineer II (TCF)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Node.js Developer with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in building scalable backend applications and cloud-native solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in JavaScript/Node.js, REST API development, AWS cloud services, Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, and CI/CD implementation using GitHub Actions. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, deploy, and maintain secure and high-performing applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using JavaScript and Node.js.

Build, enhance, and maintain RESTful APIs following industry best practices.

Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS.

Create and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, QA, and frontend teams to deliver high-quality software.

Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.

Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.

Contribute to system design discussions and technical decision-making.

Required Skills

5–8 years of professional software development experience.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and Node.js.

Extensive experience in developing and consuming REST APIs.

Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and RDS (or equivalent services).

Strong experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.

Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

Strong understanding of Git version control.

Good knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.

Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, etc.).

Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
